Users can perform operations to Create/Read/Update/Delete data (CRUD operations) using REST API methods viz. POST/GET/PUT/DELETE requests. To perform REST API calls, the following four things are required in LEAPWORK.
CREATE: To create resources in a REST environment, we most commonly use the HTTP POST method. POST creates a new resource of the specified resource type.
READ: To read resources in a REST environment, we use the GET method. Reading a resource should never change any information - it should only retrieve it.
UPDATE: It updates the resource and can also be used to create a resource sometimes using the PUT method from the HTTP Request block.
DELETE: The CRUD operation "Delete" corresponds to the HTTP method DELETE. It is used to remove a resource from the system.
