Description
User can Export and Import automation flow(s) using Export and Import functionality in LEAPWORK. This feature can also be used for taking backup or moving flows from one machine to other machines efficiently. There are two ways to Export and Import flows in LEAPWORK.
However, with the various releases, LEAPWORK keeps on evolving and upgrading the various approaches in order to deliver the best user experience. With this, the flows created and exported from a very older version can not be directly imported in the latest version. If the user tries to import such flows, the following error is shown:
The solution is to first upgrade the flows into an intermediate version after which the flows can be re-exported and imported in the latest version.
e.g. if a flow has been created and exported from a version less than Release Version 2.5.1029 then it can't be directly imported to the latest version. It should be first imported in the Release Version 2019.1.1500. After that, the flows can be re-exported and they can be imported in the latest release.
The below table illustrates the support matrix.
S. No. | Flow Created/Exported Version |
The last supported Version [Intermediate Version] |
1. |
2.5.897 <= Version <= 2.5.1029 |
2019.1.1500 |
