Connecting controller is achieved by 'Select Controller' screen which is shown just after Studio installation
- Controller: IP address or Machine name of the controller
- Port: Port on which the controller is running
- Web Sockets transport protocol: tick it if this is allowed in your network
Note: Please check with your IT Team to understand whether Web Socket transport Protocol is allowed in your network. This can also be analyzed based upon information logged in Studio.log file if the connection is not established with the controller machine.
If your controller is running on Virtual/ remote machine then pass the 'IP Address' / 'Machine name' of the controller, before connecting make sure that port 9000 is opened in your controller firewall. After entering the Controller and Port click Connect button to go to Login Screen.
Now, type admin password which was set during installation to connect the controller, after connecting you will see below screen, you are now connected to the controller.
