The LEAPWORK Web password and the LEAPWORK Platform password are two different user credentials that are used for specific purposes.
LEAPWORK Web credentials are setup when a user signs up for a LEAPWORK license. The screenshot below depicts the LEAPWORK Web credentials:
In case a user forgets the password, they can click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ link underneath the login button. Here, the user is required to enter their registered email address, where they will receive an email with a link to create a new password.
LEAPWORK platform credentials are setup in the LEAPWORK Studio to manage the roles and privileges of different members in a team.
To carry out user management, users need to go to Settings-->User Management, where they can add or edit different users, as shown below:

If a user has been added via LEAPWORK User Management but has forgotten their password and is not able to login to the LEAPWORK Studio, a second user - also added via LEAPWORK User Management - can set a new password on their behalf:
Go to the User Management section in LEAPWORK settings, as shown below:
2. Click on the user for whom you want to reset the password. A pop-up window will open.
3. Click on Set new password in the pop-up, as shown below:
4. You will be taken to a second pop-up where you can enter the new password for the locked-out user:
