The attributes of SAP elements can be SET/GET using the SAP Action block in Leapwork. The options available in the GET/SET attribute depend upon the type of the SAP element captured via the SAP Action block. GET / SET is used when we want to either retrieve some value from the SAP element or explicitly set a value in the SAP element.
Some of the generic or common attributes are Name, Type, Id, and Text, etc.
In order to get the text from a particular SAP element, simply capture the element and then select Get Attribute as an action in the SAP Action block and select Text as an attribute name. Once done we can use the Value data connector(blue connector) below to use the text in any other blocks.
Similarly to set the attributes (like text) of a particular SAP element, capture the element using SAP Action block and select Set Attributes. Now if the SAP element supports text it will display the Text option in the Attribute Name dropdown. Select Text and in the value, field type our desired text.
